The challenge
ExpoCity was keen to make granular, scalable connections with podcast listeners.
Specifically, the brand wanted to run an awareness campaign to reach listeners in the United Arab Emirates across all ages, who typically consume new content across comedy, documentary, and history collections. Their goals would be to increase brand awareness, visit consideration and ultimately an increase in sales. The budget was $4,000 USD with a 20$ CPM for the English ad and 30$ CPM for the Arabic ad with 160,000 impressions booked.
Solutions
Using Podeo’s powerful Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) technology, we deployed ExpoCity’s 30 second pre-recorded audio ads in both English and Arabic. The campaign was precisely geo-targeted across an array of categories from various Podeo-hosted podcasts with a strong listener base in the UAE.
Key Outcomes
The ad generated 161,397 audio impressions with 93.5% Listen Through Rate across 47,716 unique users. The message was properly communicated and resulted in an overbooking of 0.87% and achieved ExpoCity’s goal of increasing awareness of this campaign.
